Amazing urban dog photography in Toronto

It’s the dog days of summer. We have had some wonderful hot weather! What have you been up to?

I have been enjoying our city during these beautiful days with some fantastic urban / city dog photo shoots.

Why an urban or city pet photography session you may ask?

We do have wonderful parks and natural areas in Toronto that provide beautiful backdrops to showcase your pet. But for something different, a city shoot provides a wealth of added interest to your images.

Cities are not just streets and buildings.  You can find lovely doors, coloured walls, stairs, entrances, and so much more to work with. 

Photos of dogs in the city create a connection between the dog and its surroundings. They enable you to view your city through the eyes of a tourist. What would a tourist notice?  Imagine your pet pictured amongst stately columns, wide staircases, gorgeous summer flowerpots and graffiti painted walls. 

Or we can feature iconic buildings; Toronto’s Flatiron building or the CN Tower, the interesting architecture of the Royal Ontario Museum or the lovely buildings of the University of Toronto.

By shooting these photos really low, I provide a dog’s-eye view of the world around him.

These city pet portrait sessions always result in surprised reactions from happy dog Moms and Dads.
