How you can have a Renaissance style portrait of your pet!

Whimsical pet portraits

Are you looking for a unique pet portrait?

This week we are on our 5th week of Covid-19 social isolation here in Toronto. So what do Toronto pet portrait photographers do with all that free time while there are no pet photo sessions taking place?

I practiced some fun photo manipulation and composites using photoshop and other editing programs. I tried my hand at these renaissance style dog portraits and I think that they are quite humorous.

Now you can give your fur babies the royal treatment with these cute “pawtraits”. They are great for gifts too. I can turn a photo of your pet into a  unique and fun, posed renaissance style portrait with your dog or cat dressed up as a nobleman, soldier, queen or lady-in-waiting or any other style you dream of and I can find!!

Framed photos of dogs in Renaissance style costumes

They look really good in frames!

Update, November 2022: Since originally posting this, it has become a popular gift!

People have purchased these as gifts for friends and loved ones and for themselves as dog photos to frame and hang in their offices, play rooms and just about anywhere in their homes. They love that the photos make them smile each time they walk by!

All I need to make one of these pet portraits is a good quality photo of your dog, cat, horse, rabbit or any other pet you have.

You can order a downloadable digital photo and get your own inexpensive frame for it. That makes a really unique and fairly inexpensive gift.

Or order it as a canvas. Either way your friends and family will be sure to be delighted!

Cute pet portrait of a dog in a Renaissance costume. Makes a great gift.

Doesn’t this dog look regal in his uniform? I love his expression and his perfect attitude.

Here is a portrait of Miss Catnip - Lady of the House!

Once I have a dog’s picture, I work hard at finding a costume that seems to go well with the dog’s face.

I love how the dog is smiling - expressions in these dog portraits are everything. I also love how the colour of his fur tones in so well with his costume

This started out as having some fun while socially isolating in Toronto during the pandemic. But it’s taken on a new life as many people have ordered these Renaissance Style Pet Portraits. I am now offering them as digital photos and as canvases ready to hang on your walls.

Price starts at $30 but is dependant on the format that you choose.
