Photographing People with their Pets

I am often asked if I will photograph owners with their pets. Of course the answer is YES! It is so important to capture the special bond between pets and the people that love them!

Let’s face it - your pets bring you so much joy and love. They are your loyal friends and companions. They greet you with happiness and a wagging tail when you walk in the door. In fact, the later you come home, the happier they are!!

So it is time to celebrate that love you have for your pet.

I really urge my clients to get into those photos with their furry friends or schedule a family and pet photo shoot. Honestly, you will not regret it. And one day when your dog or cat is no longer with you, you will have truly priceless memories of the wonderful years you spent together, of the bond and friendship you shared. You will be so grateful that you did it!

Today I would like to share with you some images taken from different perspectives showcasing the wonderful relationships and beautiful moments between dogs and their owners,

Photos can be taken as landscape (horizontal) or portrait (vertical) formats; posed or candid shots; from close up or from far away; but all capture the special love between people and their dogs.

So the bottom line is - no matter how the photos are taken, they are about preserving special memories and capturing the unique bond between the people and their dogs!

Think about making timeless memories and celebrating your special relationship with a pet and family photo shoot. If you're ready to celebrate the joy and love between you and your pet, I'd love to capture your pet’s unique personality, and provide archival-quality products that will preserve these invaluable memories for years to come.

Don’t forget about the special bond between kids and their dogs. It’s never too late to schedule a photo session with your children and their pets.

This post is part of a weekly blog circle in which I am participating with other fantastic dog photographers from all over the world. The topic is “perspective”. Up next in the blog circle is Tracy Allard of Penny Whistle Photography fetching portraits in Coppell and surrounding communities in the Dallas - Fort Worth metroplex.
