If you ask my clients which are their favourite photos from their pet photography session, they’ll always include some where they or their family are in the photograph with their pets. They cherish the photographs of themselves with the dogs that have been part of their family, either for just a short while or for many years.
So why should you consider being in the photos too?
It is a chance to document your special relationship with your pets, to make beautiful memories of the love and joy you share together, to tell your special story.
Kids grow up too quickly. If you have photos of them with their childhood furry friend, they will have these memories forever and thank you for taking them!
We all wish our pets would live forever. I’ve been in many situations when the family did not have any really great pictures of themselves with their pet, and then suddenly find that their dog is really ill. While we can take pictures then, at that stage the dog is too ill to capture what his or her true personality was as a younger, more energetic and youthful dog. Take some family and pet photos before you are at that stage. There is no time like the present to make beautiful photographic memories of your cherished companions.
Our pets are loyal and loving family members. They share special moments with us, the ups and downs of life, in happy or sad times. They are our friends, companions and playmates. So let us photograph ourselves with our pets and make them an important part of our family stories.
Through photography, I can capture your pet’s unique spirit and energy.
